The Cost Of Lifelong Transformation

The Cost Of Lifelong Transformation

When you break it down daily, 12 months on the RNT journey costs less than two cups of coffee.

What can you get with £6 per day?

    Your commute to work?

A cup of coffee or two?

A meal deal on your lunch break?

A pint at the local after work?

How about a lifetime transformation instead?

The price of everyday commodities can equate to quite a lot over time. These are small costs that we often overlook in the long run and cash them off as everyday expenses.

The tall americano becomes a habitual morning routine as we become dependent on the daily caffeine fix. The meal deal is a convenient solution to forgetting to make lunch again. The pint after work turns into ‘just one more’, and then ‘one for the road’.

These are costs that we bypass on the monthly statement, mostly because they are little and often so we simply do not see them.

Nevertheless, when looking at the price of a long-term transformation, it’s a cost that can potentially raise a few eyebrows.

Expense plays a huge part in someone’s decision making. Our tendencies naturally sway towards the cheaper alternatives and high price tag can be a great deterrent (for the most of us, anyway). This is why consumables, regardless of what they are, are strategically priced as a decimal. Ever wonder why your purchases are hardly ever rounded numbers? Psychologically, we think we are getting a better deal because £4.99 looks a lot better than £5.00. So when we see a large, rounded figure, our instinct is to recoil.

But if you were to look at these everyday costs as one lump sum, you’d soon question as to whether you really need that coffee as part of your daily ritual, or think twice about forgetting your lunch again.

Let’s break this down a little further.

So, what can you buy for £6 per day?

If you purchase two coffees every day at the average UK cost of £3.33, that equates to nearly £2,500 per year!

The same goes for the US, Australia, and Canada in which the average price of a regular coffee ranges between $3 – $5 respectively. This is a very large annual bill for a couple of beans, wouldn’t you say?

The same can be said for transportation. A daily pay-as-you-go travel card for the London underground and rail services can cost anywhere between £7.20 and £18.80, and an annual card can cast up to £2,300. As for those that drive, the cost of fuel and parking can equally make quite the financial dent.

    What about a life-long transformation?

When you break it down daily, 12 months on the RNT journey is less than two cups of coffee.

Lifelong transformation for the price of a pumpkin spice latte? Sounds pretty good, wouldn’t you agree?

Is The RNT Transformation Journey Really Worth The Cost?

Sure, some would consider an annual RNT Fitness subscription expensive, it all depends on your outlook.

It’s not looking at the price of the transformation is, it’s looking at the price of its benefits.

The transformation journey may cost £2,100 over an annual term, but the price of lifelong increased productivity, higher energy levels, improved physical and mental health, and greater confidence is priceless.

At the risk of sounding like a Mastercard advert, the benefits outweigh the cost on an exponential level.

Put it this way, what do you get out of a daily coffee fix? A quick pick-me-up of energy for an hour or two until the next crash?

What do you get out of using the physical as the vehicle? Well, first of all being in the shape of your life espoused with a long-term lifestyle solution unlocks transcendental benefits beyond the physical.

A healthier body and lifestyle creates better sleep, meaning you are better rested, have higher energy levels, and aren’t as reliant on that dose of caffeine.

Better sleep positively impacts cognitive function, mental capacity and wellbeing. This results in greater productivity, enhancing your personal and professional life.

The transformation journey is one of the most underrated business tools in your arsenal, and many RNTers are entrepreneurs, business owners and high performers in their careers that have used the physical as the vehicle to excel at work and enhance their career. These benefits all transcend the physical, which is simply down to prioritising your health and self-care in the long-term.

The main difference here; the ‘latte’ is a temporary fix, the latter is a permanent one.

This is just one example of many the benefits demonstrating the real-life value behind a wise £5.75 investment.

Sure, you might get your name written on the side of your disposable take-away coffee cup, but is does that quite beat a personal transformation coach and a bespoke transformation plan tailored to you and your lifestyle? Let’s see a cappuccino do that!

Can Lifelong Transformation Save You Money In The Long-Term?

Certainly, an annual membership sounds like a large investment at the time, but what would an investment be without a return?

Besides the physical and mental benefits, which can have a profound impact on your professional life, learned behaviours, habits and structures will naturally yield financial benefits. Over the long-term, these behaviours and habits amalgamate and become second nature. Quite soon, you’ll discover yourself making better, healthier decisions naturally, and as the journey progresses, so do the benefits.

    Here are a few examples:
    • The implementation of the 3Ss (structure, strategy and systems), eliminating decision fatigue, and good food hygiene would encourage batch cooking and pre-preparation of food at home. Preparing food in bulk is not only cheaper on your food shop, but would result in better meal choices, less forgotten lunches and, subsequently, less meal deals and store-bought meals.
    • Increased energy levels and stamina would mean your reliance on caffeine fixes would decrease – as would the Costa card expenses.
    • Healthier lifestyle habits and/or step count strategies may prompt those able to find alternate ways to commute to work, such as walking or biking. This saves on the costly expense of a travel card and the additional price of elbows and armpits, as well as being a greener way to travel.

    Short-Term Costs vs. Long-Term Investing

As we have all heard before, money makes the world go round. It’s sad, and in commonwealth countries very true. This has conditioned many of us to think frugally and naturally navigate to the cheaper options. We are not necessarily saying this is always a bad thing but, sometimes, you get what you pay for.

This is certainly our standing on quick fixes. Sure, a 12-week programme looks enticing because it’s cheap, quick and easy, but does it come with a lifetime guarantee? Short-term fixes equal short-term effects, and this can be more costly in the long run.

Without changing your mindset, behaviours and learning how to keep your physique, progress will regress and it’ll back to the next quick fix, and so commences the vicious cycle. Altering your mindset, instilling positive and healthy behaviours and habits and really understanding how to remain in shape are all elements that take time. Once ingrained however, these skills are set for life teaching you how to manage your body composition forever. Without these vital lessons and behaviours, the yo-yo dieting continues and another three months of intense training is on the agenda (and monthly statement).

Quick fixes make you pay (quite literally) for your mistakes, whereas long-term lifestyle solutions teach you to balance your books easier, no matter what life throws at you.

    To Conclude

The RNT transformation journey isn’t a cost, it’s an investment.

But it isn’t just any investment – it’s far more important than a car or time-share – it’s an investment in yourself. The greatest and the most rewarding investment there is.

When you weigh up the cost of transformation against everyday habits that you probably don’t even notice, a lifelong transformation is more bang for your (star)buck.

When you break it down, the return on investment is palpable. The vast physical and mental benefits that derive from taking care of your body and your mind is worth so much more than a cup or two of branded coffee.

While a cup of coffee may give you a temporary burst of energy, it doesn’t have the capacity to increase your productivity, improve your physical and mental health, impact your career, or challenge your sense of purpose.

Do you want a strong coffee, or a strong mind? Don’t just transform your morning, transform your life!
