Tej Patel

Tej Patel is a body transformation specialist based in London who’s sole focus is to help regular, busy people on their journey to being the best version of themselves. As a mother of two working in the City, she knows all about juggling the many responsibilities that come with a busy lifestyle, and is specialist in helping you navigate around whatever life may throw at you, to help you get the best transformation possible. She’s also a keen martial artist, and practices Kick Boxing and Krav Maga. 


Growing up I was always the chubby kid. I hated anything physical and my struggles with food meant I fell into the trap of binge eating on a regular basis. This was made worse when at the age of 10, my mum put on a boiled vegetable diet. A boiled vegetable diet at the age of 10! Nothing changed in my teens, and only got worse in my 20s as I started working in the City. The lifestyle meant there was plenty of drinking, fancy restaurants, and lots of partying!


Everything changed after I had my second child in 2015. I suffered with post-natal depression for a while, and after trying everything to help reliever the symptoms, I found my saving grace in exercise, martial arts and nutrition. I turned myself, my body and my life around and started living the best years of my life.


Having realised the profound effect that working out and fuelling the body correctly could have on a woman who was supposedly ‘past her prime’ was truly life changing and empowering. It was also a soul awakening into my new purpose.


Working in the finance sector in the City, I felt I was just paying the bills. There was no fulfilment. After experiencing the power of my own transformation, I realised I needed to make a change in my career as well. So I embarked on various personal trainer qualifications so I could learn the best and most efficient ways to achieve the same results for others, without making the same mistakes I did too.


Every time I see someone change, the more I fall in love with fitness. And the more people I want to help. I want you to feel the amazing benefits that fitness can bring, and I want to help you now on your journey to being the best version of yourself!
