Highflying Professional, Sachin Lost 20 Kgs And Got A Boost In Self Confidence

Prior to joining RNT, I was overweight for as long as I can remember. A lack of knowledge about training, nutrition and a sedentary lifestyle took their eventual toll on my health and physique.

Fast forward two years, I’m in the shape of my life with a completely new mindset to my health and fitness. As a numbers guy, I like to track my data meticulously. It was only when writing this that I realised how far I’ve come with RNT: 20kg of bodyweight lost, 30cm of umbilicus reduction, 6 inch waist reduction, 4 sizes down from XL to S and some muscle built along the way.

I didn’t realise how profound the positive externalities from the transformation would be on my mental state. My confidence has improved dramatically meaning I have put myself out there both in my career and personal life.

I decided I needed to do something about my health and fitness when I was left completely out of breath walking up the escalators at Green Park station. I remember thinking that I’m 21 and should be in the shape of my life! I had seen Shyam Kotecha’s transformation on Facebook the week before, so I set myself a challenge of losing 2kg in 3 weeks. If I didn’t achieve it, I would sign up with RNT. Unsurprisingly, I had no idea what I was doing so didn’t achieve the goal and signed up with RNT soon after. At that point I didn’t realise how truly life changing that decision was.

RNT has genuinely been a god-send in my life. They have always been available to answer all my silly questions and have educated me extensively throughout the process. While they are understanding they do not accept excuses or lack of effort. I felt reassured and supported when I dealt with the stigma common in Asian culture. RNT simplified a daunting journey into a series of small achievable checkpoints whereby all I needed to do was execute.

The key differentiating factor with RNT was tailoring the key fundamentals to each individual’s lifestyle, commitments and body types. I got the information and the knowledge that helped me make effective choices when out or stuck at work. We found ways to structure my day better to find time to go to the gym, meal prep, do my steps and cardio while dealing with long hours, a stressful high pressure work schedule and arduous exams.

Investing in RNT to invest in myself has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I’ve dramatically improved my physical and mental health, setting myself up for the future. RNT has been key for me to deal with crippling insecurity and body image issues in an informed manner.
