How Mum Kimberly Went From Avoiding the Scale To Losing 51lbs And Marathon Training At 44

When Kimberly stepped on the scale in October 2024, she froze.

“I realised that I was inching very closely towards the 200-pound mark… and in my 44 years of living, I’ve never been 200 pounds.”

The number staring back at her was 191lbs, the heaviest she’d ever been.

It was a reality check that pierced through decades of excuses, diet hopping, and self-justification.

A Lifetime of Learned Habits

Kimberly’s struggles with weight began at 13. Growing up, fresh produce and balanced meals weren’t commonplace.

“It was sodas, it was sugar, it was juice… I wasn’t raised on fruits and vegetables.”

Those early habits carried into adulthood, unknowingly passed down to her children.

With convenience foods, frequent takeaways, and minimal activity, her health quietly slipped into the background.

The Tipping Point

In the summer of 2024, Kimberly watched friends turn to weight loss injections. A physician even offered to prescribe her Ozempic.

But the warning stuck with her: “It’s not going to give you what you want… you’re going to be on it for life.”

She imagined the anxiety of never coming off the medication, the lifelong expense, and the lack of muscle-building benefits she craved. The idea quickly lost its appeal.

After seeing her friend’s jaw-dropping RNT transformation, she decided to book a call with the RNT team.

“Now I’m not only making my meal preps, I’m making my husband’s too. My kids are using the gym, going for runs… they’ve changed their habits because of what I’ve done.”


Breaking Old Cycles

Kimberly recognised her lifelong pattern: small wins followed by complacency and relapse.

“You lose 4 pounds, your pants feel a bit looser… and then you fall back into old habits.”

Identity Shift

Her mindset transformed.

She stopped setting limitations and began embracing challenges, from weight training in her basement to signing up for a marathon.

Today, Kimberly is 51lbs lighter, in marathon training, and preparing for a photoshoot on her 45th birthday.
