As a director of a company and a father to a toddler I always used to feel like there weren’t enough hours in a day to accomplish what I wanted to. I was stuck in the mind frame that I could “out train” a bad diet. I started training in a gym as early as 16 and had nothing to show for it.
I started to compare myself to others and would start feeling low as I wanted to be in decent shape. I used to tell myself that I come from an Indian background and it’s our genetics. It was around my 34th birthday when I saw a picture of Akash and the well-known transformation of Shyam and that was a turning point for me. I had made up my mind that by my 35th birthday I would be in the shape I wanted to be in.
I joined RNT and started a journey that unbeknown to me would change my life inside and out. From the first email I got I learned so much. And the learning didn’t stop there. The interactions with the RNT team gave me a better understanding of nutrition and training. At first you may get overwhelmed with the goals you need to achieve but RNT teach you how to take action instead of making excuses.
The process is simple and you just have to trust in the system and let the rest take care of itself. I managed to transform my body to a level I never thought would be possible for me. The discipline and habits I had in place for these transformations transcended into other areas of my life and I literally felt lighter physically and mentally. You realise how much unnecessary baggage you surround yourself with and this journey teaches you to create a better and purposeful life. It teaches you to work hard instead of chasing quick fixes and to choose long term satisfaction over immediate gratification.
