    3 Ways To Look, Feel & Perform Your Best This Week



    1. The precision dip trap…

    Whatever your goal is, there always comes a point in time when you think you’re in a “plateau”.

    The reality is very different. In almost every case, it’s because you’ve gotten complacent.

    You were cruising along getting the “easy results”, when all of a sudden, you take your eye off the bar.

    I wrote up a conversation I often encounter here, whereby a client may think they’re on it…

    But as we dig deeper, the root cause unravels… 

    The complacency reveals itself in a few ways like (this is for weight loss):
    • You’re going out and totally under estimating the number of calories you’re eating.
    • You think you know what 15g of peanut butter is… (get ready to be humbled!)
    • You think swapping a protein shake and an apple, for an evening meal of risotto and veggies, is an identical swap when eating out.
    • You’ve started slacking on your cardio, or falling short on your steps (but think it’s fine).
    A big trap to watch out for!

    2. When you think you’re hungry, ask yourself if you need caloric or spiritual energy…

    “When I’m hungry, what am I really craving?”

    I’ve thought about this question a lot recently.

    Almost always, it’s a perception of something missing in the moment, or the day.

    Maybe you’re doing something you don’t enjoy, or around people you’re not vibing with…

    Or maybe you're bored and/or dehydrated…

    A great way to get to know yourself better is to sit with your perceived hunger and find out what bubbles up!

    3. Eating similar meals will replace decision fatigue with headspace.

    If you’ve never tried to automate 80-90% of your meals, it can be an absolute game changer.

    When you’re constantly having to think about your next meal, the macros etc… it can be exhausting.

    It can also lead to poorer decisions being made when you don’t have much energy to come up with a creative new recipe.

    When you’re in a routine with similar meals, you realise how much headspace you have when you’re not thinking about what to eat when.
