Transformation Thursday: Val’s Dream Body At 45 🔥

    2. Be the 5%. Lean, clean and full of steam, ready to attack your well considered 2024 Goals.

    3 Ways To Feel, Look & Perform Better (Festive Edition)

    With the festive season around the corner, here are 3 strategies to help you navigate your fitness journey:

    1. Stick by the “one plate” rule. 

    That means no appetisers, desserts or drinks. On the plate you want:

    a) ½ plate veggies. Ask for the sauces/dressings on the side.

    b) A good source of protein (ideally ¼-⅓ of the plate). Leaner the better (chicken, fish, soy mince, quorn or tofu).

    c) If you’re in a fat loss phase, everything else “on the side” would be the safest bet here.

    2. Try the “simple swap”.

    Instead of number crunching or using excessive “buffering” to save calories for a big meal, pick something similar on the menu.

    If you’re somewhat close, you’ll be better off than not going in with this awareness.

    3. The “protein pre load”.

    Mix up 30-50g protein powder, 3g xanthan gum and 400-600ml liquid together in a blender.

    The combo of protein + fibre will keep you full & reduce the chance of a bad decision.

    You also won’t need to worry about hitting your protein target at the event!

    Being a strong role model for his son was Val’s biggest motivator for joining RNT. 

    He’d tried a few fitness programmes before RNT and had rapid progress. The trouble was, his rebound was just as quick. 

    Try as he might, he couldn’t hold on to his results.
